we are...
The Training Department of the Ohio EAP offers free-of-charge training to all state agencies and institutions. Presentations are one to three hours in length. Management personnel can schedule training by calling Chris Mesner at 614-644-8784 or Ellen Duplessis at 614-466-5012.

WORKPLACE
This training focuses on the Federal Drug-Free Workplace Act and the importance of early intervention and referral. Various signs/symptoms of abuse are discussed.

interactive training is available in flexible modules. Examples include: Self-Awareness,
Self-Care; Changing Workplace; More with Less; Communication Skills; Conflict
Resolution and Time Management.

VIOLENCE PREVENTION
This training presents an overview of work-related issues, with emphasis on prevention and what each employee can do to help.

Critical Incident Stress Debriefing
Debriefing in a confidential group setting, using trained facilitators, helps employees manage stress reactions to work-related trauma (death, injury, riot, hostage, etc.). Promotes more rapid recovery from incident.

Interventions
A planned intervention by trained facilitators allows management and employees to return to or maintain a productive work environment while simultaneously addressing organizational change.
